Inclusive platform with impact
Bolingo Community is committed to equal opportunities, identity and connection within the Afro and Afro-Caribbean diaspora. With their programs such as Bolingo Kids, they want to bring young and old together, inspire and inform them about culture, roots and future prospects. My Tech Partner has taken care of the technical and visual realization: from house style and logo to the WordPress website and CMS training, with the aim of giving Bolingo a powerful and accessible digital platform.

A digital translation of mission and identity
Bolingo wanted a modern website that clearly communicated their mission and projects: from Bolingo Kids to activities, events and community stories. The challenge was to create a visually strong, safe and easy to manage online environment that reflected the diversity and strength of the organization.
Our approach
1. Branding & design
We created the logo and visual identity of Bolingo Kids, including multiple feedback rounds with stakeholders to arrive at a suitable style. This house style was later implemented on the entire website.

2. Website design & frontend development
Based on the brandbook and house style, we designed the website layout, paying special attention to appearance, readability and accessibility. The frontend is built in WordPress with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), so that content can be managed flexibly without technical knowledge.

3. CMS explainer & training
We delivered the website along with clear explanations and training for the Bolingo team, so they could independently add content, manage pages and publish events—without relying on developers.

Result
A strong brand identity was central to this project. We developed a recognizable logo and a warm, inclusive house style that seamlessly connects with the target group of Bolingo Community. The visual elements contribute to recognition and ensure a consistent appearance, both online and offline.
The management of the website also had to be accessible. By using WordPress in combination with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), content management has become intuitive. Volunteers and employees can easily adjust texts, create new pages or add visual content - without technical knowledge.

The final website is more than just informative. It has become a visually inspiring platform with a clear overview of the mission, current projects, upcoming events and ways in which visitors can contribute to the community. The design invites action and involvement.
With this new site, Bolingo Community also digitally expresses its connecting and inspiring character, a place where identity is celebrated, encounters are stimulated and there is room for personal and collective growth. The platform supports their mission and lays a solid foundation for further development.
